Knowledge is gained through experience, reasoning, or acquaintance. It is the accumulation of facts we have learned about or experienced (Scuderi, 2019). Passion is a feeling of intense enthusiasm towards or compelling desire for someone or something ( eNotes.com, 2019). Work tolerance is an employee’s capability to perform their job for a given time period without negatively impacting the output and quality levels they produce (WorkplaceTesting Inc., 2019).

Diversity: While diversity in large organizations continues to be elusive, there is strong evidence that diversity can improve the performance of organizations. This is because diverse composition is often accompanied by diverse perspectives and problem-solving heuristics (Tsusaka, Reeves, Hurder, & Harnoss, 2017). Therefore, I am a big fan of diversifying the workplace at all levels.

Emotional intelligence: Success is strongly influenced by personal qualities such as perseverance, self-control and skill in getting along with others (DeLeon, 2015). In this regard, I plan to embrace five key elements: namely: self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills.

Organizational culture: Any work culture typically involves the organizational principles and ideologies, along with the employees’ thought processes, attitudes and beliefs (IAC Publishing, LLC, 2019). A healthy work culture leads to satisfied employees and an increased productivity. Appreciating the top performers is important and makes them feel indispensable for their organization. Promoting team building activities helps bind the employees together (Management Study Guide, 2019). Thus; I am enthusiastic for preparing my team for the tough times so that they are ready under any odd circumstances or change in the work culture.

Accordingly, I want to passionately cultivate my knowledge in tolerating my VUCA-driven world, in the hope that I sustain resilience and wisdom at both personal and professional levels. When it comes to my work environment, diversity, emotional intelligence, and organizational culture are key elements to consider in this regard.
